Chronic Pain Self-Management (CPSMP) is the English version of the Chronic Disease Self-Management (CDSMP) program developed by Dr. Sandra LeFort and Dr. Kate Lorig at the Stanford Patient Education Research Center. In Arizona, CPSMP is known as Healthy Living with Chronic Pain (CPSMP). CPSMP is a copyrighted program that requires organizations and leaders to operate under a license. In Arizona, CPSMP is known as Healthy Living with Chronic Pain (CPMSP).
<b> This is a 2 day leader training for those wishing to facilitate CPSMP workshops. Participants MUST be previously trained in Healthy Living (CDSMP) </b>
CPSMP workshops require two (2) facilitators, so organizations are encouraged to sponsor two (2) members to attend the training. CPSMP Leaders are encouraged to deliver one (1) CPMSP workshop within six (6) months of their training, and are required to facilitate one (1) workshop annually to maintain their Leader status. CPSMP workshops should enroll 12-18 participants per workshop.
After attending and passing this training, participants will be able to facilitate TCS workshops.

Thursday, August 3 – 9:00am-4:30pm
Friday, August 4 – 9:00am-12:00pm
Attendance is REQUIRED all 2 days.
