
Arizona Living Well Institute Sponsor Partners
The ADHS Arizona Living Well Program has used funding from the Administration on Aging to join with other community partners to establish the Arizona Living Well Institute. Additionally, the ADHS Arizona Living Well Program has researched and developed a Report on Aging in Arizona and an Aging in Arizona Fact Sheet. Both resources contain invaluable materials and content relavant to providing services for the Boomer Generation.
Funds to launch the AZ Living Well Institute have been made available by grant funds from St. Luke’s Health Initiatives and the Arizona Department of Health Services through a grant from the Administration on Aging (AoA).
Greater Valley AHEC The Greater Valley Area Health Education Center is one of five area health education centers in the state of Arizona. The GVAHEC program is managed by Empowerment Systems, Inc. a non profit corporation that is located in Apache Junction, Arizona. The GVAHEC has an independent advisory board that meets on a monthly basis.

By investing in nonprofits and encouraging strategic planning for the future, Piper Trust strives to make Maricopa County a stronger, more nurturing and vibrant community. The Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust has funded the Arizona Living Well Institute, through their parent company Empowerment Systems, to bring the online version of the Stanford University Chronic Disease Self-Management Program (Better Choices, Better Health) to Arizona.
